1. Eligibility
- Customer must be minimum 18 years of age.
- Must provide photocopy of Driving License and Aadhar Card to dealer during pickup.
- Photocopy of Vehicle RC must be provided.
2. Security Deposit
- Deposit is refundable within 48–72 hours after inspection.

Deductions may apply for:
- Deep scratches, dents, cracks: Rs 500
- Broken hinges: Rs 500
- Lost keys: Rs 300
- Excessive dirt / muddy: Rs 300
- In case of major structural damage, full replacement cost may be charged.
3. Installation & Fitment
- Installation is performed at dealer store at time of pickup.
- Customer must inspect and confirm secure installation.
- Customer must re-check tightening after first 50 km of driving.
- If customer modifies installation after pickup, AWAY bears no responsibility.
4. Load Capacity & Usage
- Maximum load limit: 70 kg
- Weight must be evenly distributed.

Prohibited items:
- Flammable goods
- Hazardous materials
- Illegal substances
- Overloading voids all liability from AWAY.
5. Driving & Safety Conditions
Customer acknowledges:
- Vehicle height increases after installation.
- Must check parking clearance, toll booths, basements, and drive-throughs.
- Maximum recommended speed: 100 km/h.
- Not suitable for racing, extreme off-roading, or reckless driving.
6. Damage, Theft & Accident Liability
Customer is fully liable for:
- Accident damage
- Theft or loss
- Cracks or structural failure due to misuse
- Water leakage caused by improper closure
- Damage due to parking collisions or height misjudgment
In case of accident:
- Customer must immediately stop vehicle.
- Inform AWAY within 4 hours.
- Share clear photos/videos.
All repair or replacement costs will be borne by customer.
7. Lock & Key Responsibility
- Customer is responsible for safe custody of keys.
- Lost key replacement charges: ₹ 300
- Lock tampering will result in full lock replacement charge.
8. Weather Disclaimer
- Not recommended during extreme crosswinds or severe storms.
9. Inspection Policy
- Pre-handover inspection with photos/video will be conducted.
- Post-return inspection will determine damage, if any.
- Customer agrees to inspection findings.
10. Cancellation Policy
- 1 day before pickup date: Full refund.
- Same day cancellation: Rs 1000 fine.
11. Breakdown / Detachment Clause
If roof box loosens or detaches:
- Customer must stop immediately.
- Must not continue driving.
- Must inform AWAY.
12. Indemnity Clause
Customer agrees to indemnify and hold AWAY harmless against:
- Third-party injury claims
- Property damage claims
- Loss of luggage
- Insurance disputes
- Accidents arising from driver negligence
AWAY shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses.
13. Branding Clause
Customer agrees:
- AWAY branding/logos shall not be removed or covered.
- Rental implies consent to public brand visibility.
14. Jurisdiction
All disputes shall be governed under the laws of India.
